Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to Delhi
On your arrival at airport our representative will welcome you and assist you to your hotel. Here you will take some rest and enjoy dinner followed by comfortable night stay.

Day 2 Old Delhi delight
After breakfast you will be out to explore streets of Old Delhi. You will visit the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and the famous spice market situated at Khari Baoli. Later you will head towards Paranthe Wali Gali, which is famous for its various versions of paranthas, veg and non veg both. You will enjoy your lunch here which will include welcome drinks followed by starter, main course and at last but not the least dessert. Old Delhi is the culinary capital since Mughal period; here you will find many shops offering delicacies which are famous since the time of Mughals and Britishers. At Chandni Chowk one can enjoy famous chat of Delhi, Dahi Bhalle, Falooda, Lassi, Daulat ki Chaat and many such sweet and savory dishes. From here you will head towards home stay where you will learn about Indian cuisine and some basic cooking tips. From here leave for hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner
Overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 3 Delhi to Dharamshala by flight 
After breakfast board your flight to Dharamshala. On your arrival at Dharamshala, you will be transported to your hotel. After some rest visit McLeodGanj- a suburb of Dharamshala and Monastery and local markets. Explore the local market to enjoy authentic local cuisine and after returning to hotel in evening take a cooking class at hotel and learn to make some Indian dishes with the guidance of head chef. Enjoy dinner and then a comfortable overnight stay at hotel itself.

Day 4 Visit Kangra valley
Drive to Kangra Valley post breakfast and visit the famous Fort and Jain temple situated here. Enjoy lunch at a local household and learn about Himalayan style of cooking. Enjoy cocktail lunch in evening. Overnight in hotel.

Day 5 Dharamshala to Amritsar by road
Enjoy breakfast at hotel followed by drive to Amritsar. After comfortable transfer to the hotel, you will proceed for sightseeing of the city. Visit the holy shrine of the Golden Temple. Relish dinner at some authentic Punjabi restaurant.

Day 6 In Amritsar
After breakfast stroll down the streets of Amritsar and get taste of local delicacies. Visit the host's place in the afternoon for your lunch and some cooking lessons. Prepare your meal and learn to make authentic Punjabi food like ‘Daal’ and ‘Naan’. In the evening, visit the Wagah border- which is an Indo-Pak border- for beating the retreat ceremony. Overnight in Amritsar.

Day 7 Amritsar to Delhi by flight/Amritsar to Jaipur by road
In the morning after breakfast, board the flight to Delhi. Have lunch in Delhi from where you will be driven to Jaipur. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
 
Day 8 Jaipur sightseeing
Set out for full day sightseeing of Jaipur. Visit places like the enormous Amer Fort, Jal Mahal Palace situated in the Man Sagar Lake, the palace of winds- Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar observatory and more. After the exhausting day enjoy authentic Rajasthani food in tradition style at Chokhi Dhani. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9 Jaipur to Agra by road
Breakfast at the hotel followed by drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri en route. The ephemeral capital of Mughal dynasty, Fatehpur Sikri is a red sandstone city built by Akbar in 16th century. The Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Tomb of Salim Chisti and Jama Masjid are few of the places that you will visit here. You will reach Agra by evening where you will have dinner followed by sound sleep overnight.
 
Day 10 Taj Mahal tour (Agra)
Get a glimpse of sunrise at the enchanting Taj Mahal. Return to hotel for breakfast and then leave for sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the Agra Fort and Tomb of I'timad-ud-daulah. Attend your cooking classes in the afternoon followed by lunch. Take dinner at the hotel in evening followed by comforting overnight stay.
   
Day11 Agra to Lucknow
Next morning after breakfast board your flight from Agra to Lucknow. On reaching Lucknow, check into the hotel and unwind. Rest of the day is at your leisure. You can explore the streets of Lucknow and taste the famous Kebabs. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day12 Lucknow 
Breakfast at the hotel followed by sightseeing of famous places like Imambara, Picture gallery, and Jama Masjid. In the evening, explore local eateries of the city and relish dinner at some Indian restaurant. Overnight in Lucknow.

Day 13 Lucknow to Kolkata 
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a flight to Kolkata. On your arrival at Kolkata you will be transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. In your dinner, relish Bengali cuisine. Overnight at the Kolkata.

Day14 Kolkata
After breakfast set out on a city tour, enjoy a boat ride in Hoogly River, explore local eateries and street food like 'Jhal Mudi', 'Ghugni Chaat', 'Puchkas', 'Luchi-aloo dum', 'Kele Bhaja', 'Rasgulla' and variety of fish delicacies. Overnight in Kolkata.

Day 15 Kolkata
After breakfast depart for sightseeing tour of the city and visit places like The Victoria Memorial, St, Paul's Cathedral, High Court, Marble Palace, and Mother Teresa's Mission. Overnight in Kolkata.

Day 16 Departure
Your delicious tour comes to an end today. You will be escorted to the airport for your onward destination flight.
