Amber Fort

The monumental Amber Fort was commissioned by Raja Man Singh and is the principal attraction of the Pink City. It is an extensive complex comprising of courtyards, balconies, and ramparts built of yellow and pink sandstone and white marble. Reaching the fort by riding on the elephant back is popular among tourists. You will surely be charmed by the magnificent interiors and exteriors of the fort.                                                                                                                           

City Palace

The royal residence, City Palace provides you an insight about the extravagant lifestyle of the bygone era. It was planned by Maharaja Sawai Jaisingh II and is a fusion of Mughal, Rajput and European style of architecture. A part of the Palace i.e Chandra Mahal is a museum and the other remnant part is still the royal residence.

Jantar Mantar

Maharaja Jai Singh II was passionate about astronomy and hence he built a large solar observatory and named it Jantar Mantar. The instruments are a collection of nine astronomical instruments and allow observation of astronomical positions with the naked eye. The monument is an example of a high level of architectural engineering of that era.

Hawa Mahal

The Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. It is a five-story building with 953 windows which were originally made for women so that they can witness the outside world through these windows.
